Relax and Rejuvenate

Swedish / therapeutic Massage

Prenatal / Postpartum Massage - Mobile Appointments Available

Perfect for those who need to unwind and relax. Tillie uses long, smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements on the topmost layer of muscles to promote relaxation. Therapeutic massage takes this a step further to address deeper muscle, connective tissue, or postural imbalances/injuries. Therapeutic bodywork can decrease pain, increase range of motion, and improve the rate of healing in the body.

Prenatal / Postpartum Massage - Mobile Appointments Available

Prenatal massage is designed to relieve the physical discomforts of pregnancy, such as back pain, leg cramps, and swollen ankles. Techniques are safe for both the pregnant person and the baby/babies.

Postpartum bodywork can bring balance back to the birthing person's body, whether it is improving posture during breast/chestfeeding and carrying children, helping to address muscle weakness or hypertension caused by pregnancy, rebalancing diastasis recti (separated abdominal muscles), reducing breast soreness related to milk production, and more!

Breast/Chest Health Massage

This treatment incorporates massage around the belly, ribs and hips and is for folks with wombs and ovaries, or those who have had these organs removed. This is a gentle, completely external treatment and it promotes balance and vitality in the uterus, ovaries and digestive system. It can also address scar tissue from sports, inflammation, pregnancy, injury or surgery and helps to release stagnant tissue around the digestive organs, uterus and ovaries. Please note that clients remain respectfully draped over breast and groin areas during this treatment, but the belly may be exposed according to each client's comfort level. Breast/Chest Health Massage

Complementary Aromatherapy, Cupping, and/or Synergy Hot Stones

Breast/Chest Health Massage

This clinical, therapeutic treatment addresses breast/chest tissue for clients with healthy breasts. Breast massage can reduce tenderness due to hormonal changes or pregnancy, improve lymphatic circulation, improve milk production, clear blocked ducts, reduce the presence of fibrocystic tissue, and soften scar tissue and adhesions. Did you know that most people who wear bras, tight clothes or carry heavy bags have scar tissue in their breasts? This bodywork can also support a nurturing, normalizing and kind attitude towards the breasts; incredibly valuable in a culture where breasts are heavily judged, censored, and fetishized. This massage is for those with natural breasts, those who have had top surgery (to add or remove!) and/or implants (note: some implants are safe for massage, but not all). Those experiencing active cancers, some lymphatic diseases or severe mastitis should seek care from a specialist. Tillie would be happy to refer you.

Note: According to Oregon law, a separate free consultation appointment and consent form will be required prior to any breast massage performed. This can be done before you leave after a non-breast massage with me, or you can come in for a consultation separately. It is recommended that you have at least one massage with me before we schedule a breast massage so we can build rapport and communication together. My goal is to help you feel as safe as possible, as breast massage can be a vulnerable and emotional experience for clients. Your breast massage can be performed over thin, soft clothing or on the skin directly. Nipples are avoided according to Oregon law.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at frogandwillow@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

What are the benefits of massage?

Massage therapy treatments have been shown to reduce stress, release muscle tension, improve sleep, and eliminate or reduce pain from injury, physical imbalances, and chronic illness. It is very supportive for the very special, intense periods of prenatal, postpartum and early parenthood to reduce pain, regain strength and increase calm and emotional balance. Many individuals find that getting regular massage improves mood, posture, and creates an increase in energy throughout the day.

Do you do walk-in appointments?

No. You may text me to inquire if a same-day appointment is available (sometimes I have gaps between clients that I'd love to fill!), but I cannot guarantee availability and do not keep office hours onsite.

Do you offer deep tissue or sports massage?

Short answer: no. Firm pressure is available during your sessions with me, but I take a lighter, slower approach to massage than most people who want very deep tissue and sports massage want. My goals for your sessions are not to put you in pain, but to work with your body and nervous system gently. Please message me if you need a recommendation for a good deep tissue/sports therapist!

Can I use my insurance benefit to pay?

Currently I take some Regence BCBS plans and MVA (motor vehicle accident) clients. For clients with other health insurance plans, I can provide you with a detailed superbill to submit to your provider; please make sure your insurance covers reimbursements for out-of-network massage therapy or manual therapy in this way before booking, as I cannot guarantee they will reimburse you. Please reach out to me about booking an insurance-covered massage.

What methods of payment do you take?

You can prepay online with a credit or debit card or purchase/use a gift certificate on my online booking platform, MassageBook. I take cash, check, Venmo, Cashapp and PayPal as well.

Do you offer sliding scale payment options?

Yes! Sliding scale pricing starts at 50% of list price. I offer 3 appointments per month at this rate; this service is reserved for low income clients who cannot otherwise afford regular massage. You may book online and let me know you are a Sliding Scale client in the comments and I will waive the remainder of the session fee. You may also book by texting or calling.
